PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE



New Frontier Democratic Club is very proud to have participated in the Historical fabric change in America, New Frontier Member wade in on all levels of change for America. We were represented at the California State Convention as Delegates, The National Democratic Convention to cast are electoral vote to nominate US. Senator Barak Obama as the Democratic Candidate for President United States. We came back from Denver Co “charge up and ready to go” with the “Yes WE CAN” attitude and open the South Central Campaign office, we made calls walked precincts and drove voter to the polls. On November the 4th off to the Hyatt Hotel in Century City where member of NFDC gather to watch the returns, for the President of the United States of America and we won. On January 20, 2009 New Frontier Democratic Club had over 50 members represented in Washington DC to witness the First African America place his hand on Lincoln bible and take the oath of office.
From The Start
Since the founding of New Frontier Democratic Club in 1960 we have represented change in who will speak for us in government and this is why I am proud to be New Frontier 49th President. To know that we have a strong and alive legacy, that we must agree to disagree and work for a greater conciseness, for within that formula New Frontier will advance the goals of the Democratic party through public policy, political issues analysis, education, fundraising, membership.
The 49th installation of newly elected Leadership will enhance the success of New Frontier in 2009 and prepare us for are 50th Anniversary. New Frontier Democratic Club salute the success of our honoree for their outstanding achievement: Speaker of the Assembly Ms. Karen Bass the first African America woman in the state of California to hold the office Speaker, and a member of NFDC, Mr. Mark Ridley Thomas the first African American male in the county of Los Angeles to hold the office of Supervisor and a member of NFDC, Ret Assemblymember Mr. Mervyn Dymally the first African America to hold t the office of Lieutenant Governor in the State of California, Mr. Phil Wilson the Founder and President of Black Aids Institute, Mr. Guy Black of KJLK 102.3 Radio Free morning show and Mr. Steve Neal the Federation of Labor on the frontline fighting for the right and equality for all.
